I wrote these stories with a sense of the temerity implied by such a venture. We have the scriptures themselves. We have the teachings of Church. Isn’t that enough? Of course it is. But the figure of Jesus, the Christ, continues to fascinate our world.

Films, books, scholarly research, even musicals - they all continue to puzzle over who he is and what he means. This book is simply one more venture in this process of seeking greater understanding. Jesus comes to us who seek, whoever we are, wherever we live.
